Methodologies and Instruments for the Planning and the durable management of the Irrigation in condition of Dryness
Information and the data collected, the experiments of project and management carried out during the project will contribute to develop and to diffuse a bank of data and a Handbook European for management and the setting at the day of the MIPAIS. In the project physical actions of preparation of the pilot surfaces and monitoring are envisaged (positioning of the instrumentation, collects and organization of the climatic data, sampling, etc), of the actions of formation and sensitizing of the farmers and finally of the actions of and transfer exchanges of information of knowledge.

| Objectives | The objective of the project is to realize on an experimental scale and under various conditions representative of the Mediterranean climate, and for different cultures, "Methodologies and Instruments for the Planning and the durable management of the Irrigation in condition of Dryness" (MIPAIS). These methodologies will make it possible to limit the deficit of the availability of water resources, to reduce the conflicts between the use for the irrigation and the other needs, and to guarantee to the agricultural community an acceptable level of production. | ||
