Project Development of a pilot model of eco-efficient industrial estate adopted to the Morocco situation through the establishment of an internal expert team for the technical assistance to companies in introducing waste water treatment and reuse

- The industrial zone of Berrechid (one of the four Municipalities of the Settat Province) has a surface of 33ha and includes 74 enterprises.  It is facing the following problems: a lack of sensitivity of industries to environmental issues regarding the use and reuse of water and wastewater, and an absence of water and land use management plans.
- Therefore, there is a need to define guidelines to improve wastewater management, including the water-treatment plant and to introduce a technical assistance service to allow enterprises to comply with national and European legislation (for export products).
