Project Collection, Storage & Distribution of Water in Antiquity Linking Ancient Wisdom to Modern Needs

A 12 month long project has been launched on 1st October 2012 aiming to expand the examples of waterworks from the Mediterranean countries presented in the HYDRIA website. HYDRIA promotes Water Related Cultural Heritage sites, especially the less valorised ones, through online multimedia tools, including photos, texts and animations.

The current project is lead by MIO-ECSDE in partnership with 18+1 partners from Mediterranean countries, that will develop the examples of waterworks:

13) FOCUS Casa Diritti Sociali – Italy;
14) PWF – Palestine;
15) U Marinu / CPIE Bastia – France;
16) Bizeirt University – Palestine;
17) JSDCBD – Jordan;
18) BALADY - Egypt
19) NTM - Malta

The project will be implemented between 01/10/2012 and 30/09/2013.

The project is funded by the ANNA LINDH EURO MEDITERRANEAN FOUNDATION 
and supported also by MIO-ECSDE's EU Core funding.
