In ensuring these compatibility recommendations, systems will also be online with the latest International standards, thus facilitating reporting towards international obligations. </p>
<p>It also provides a discovery service to search for existing datasets, sources of data and geographical layers. Visualisation services are also provided according to access rights as a result of the discovery process. </p>
<p>It demonstrates the integration of remote access to services and data as examples for building a Shared Environmental Information System -SEIS-: access to the EEA reporting obligation database (national level), metadata havesting between Inspire compliant catalogues, visualisation of geographical data sets by remote access to Web Map Services (EEA, JRC).</p>
